Timeline: Dec. 2010 - Jul. 2011
This project seeks to ensure that a future Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) helps to consolidate and strengthen levels of public transparency in international arms transfers and arms export policies. It will provide a comprehensive overview of reporting mechanisms on international arms transfers and export controls as well as non-governmental monitoring efforts in this field. In addition, the study will analyse how these experiences can be used to inform the implementation of effective systems of reporting and monitoring under an ATT.
